Robin Lovin

Robin W. Lovin is the Director of Research at the Center of Theological Inquiry and the Cary Maguire University Professor of Ethics emeritus at Southern Methodist University. He has been serving as Project Leader of CTI’s three-year interdisciplinary research project on New Approaches in Theological Inquiry, 2012-2015, and was Co-Leader of CTI’s Inquiry on Theology and International Law, 2006-2010, with Professor Jeremy Waldron. He joined the SMU faculty in 1994, and served as Dean of Perkins School of Theology from 1994-2002. During a research leave at the Library of Congress in the spring of 2013, he was appointed to the Cary and Ann Maguire Chair in Ethics and American History at the Library’s John W. Kluge Center.
