Bio/Description

John Walker is a doctoral student in the Religion, Ethics, and Politics subfield. His research concerns the history of Christian moral and political theology, with a focus on Augustine, Augustinianism, and the Protestant tradition. His current project concerns the nature of mercy and its role in public life.

John received a B.A. in Philosophy from George Fox University, as a member of the Honors Program, and an M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary.
